USAF Fighter Roadmap 2023

The United States Air Force plans to reduce from what it calls seven fleets of aircraft types to four – the F-15E/EX, F-16, F-35 and NGAD – which will mean the retirement of the A-10, the F-15C/D, and the F-22.

This eagerly awaited publication examines why this is necessary, and how the air force plans to achieve the aim while maintaining the aircraft numbers it needs, in the face of limited production of fighters in the US.
