The September Issues is a biannual magazine campaigning for creativity within global feminism, making fashion a feminist issue and creating a platform for underrepresented artists. Each issue looks at a new theme – the theme of the latest issue is revisionism, or the act of looking back and seeing with fresh eyes. This theme runs throughout the entire magazine, from abstract artist Kathryn Hart’s letter on how early feminists influence her work, to an article looking back at the first EDM parties to feature female DJs as a political statement, hosted by a DJ collective known as Discwoman.
Each article is accompanied by striking fashion photography, and each fashion feature is complemented by an article or interview; The September Issues seamlessly blends political commentary with stunning fashion photography, so that it’s never boring to read. The latest issue, Revisionism, is available in store and online now!
