Who doesn’t love cats and dogs? Our furry best friends are the theme for the very first issue of AWW magazine, created to “spread happiness” in the words of its editor, Amber Fu. This magazine features something to please everyone (as long as they like pets!) from a cat- and dog-themed travel guide to book recommendations, delivered by dogs and cats of course. AWW magazine also features short interviews with artists, such as Noako Shono who draws cats in adorably human situations including bartending and reading books about mice.
This entire magazine is charming and endearing; each page is filled to the brim with affection for our four-legged furry friends. This is the sort of magazine that could be read over and over, and then be cut into pieces in order to frame the gorgeous illustrations inside. On every page there’s something cute to look at, like the crayon drawing for an adopt-don’t-shop advert that shows dogs and cats with a much diversity as the people that look after them, or the watercolour paintings that reimagine famous film and TV scenes with cats and dogs added in! The first, very cute issue of AWW magazine is available in store and online now.
